Document exchange – rethought

Today, policy holders receive their policies and notifications in a variety of ways: by post, by e-mail or via individual customer portals. A central, cross-provider portal does not yet exist. This leads to lack of transparency, media breaks and frustration among customers – especially when documents are needed quickly.

Our solution: The DocumentAPI

In order to provide end customers with central and cross-provider access to insurance documents, FRIDA relies on cooperation with digital mailboxes provided by third-party providers.

Using a standardized interface – the FRIDA DocumentAPI – insurers can send their documents securely and in compliance with data protection regulations to these mailboxes. Third party providers receive the content and make it available to customers in bundled digital document safes – provided that the user has given their consent.

This creates a central access point for all insurance documents – transparent, user-friendly and completely digital.
